My dogs have enriched my life, and I want to help you experience this same wonderful gift with your dog.
My mission is to help you be successful in building a better communication and relationship with your dog. Perfecting this positive dog training method has been my personal passion since 2000.
My training does not rely on punishment or force. Behaviors are taught using positive reinforcements, rewarding the dog for the behaviors that we want and redirecting the behaviors that we do not.
I often teach using a “clicker”. It is a small plastic box that when pressed makes an intriguing “click” sound. Through rewards, the dog very quickly learns that whatever he is doing when he hears the “click” is good! He then understands the game and he is eager to perform to make the “click” happen again.

The sooner the better, but it is never too late. Yes, old dogs can learn new tricks!
All puppies should begin puppy training as soon as they arrive home. Potty training, early socialization, chew training, and basic puppy manners are a must for all pups regardless of size.
Training will help you strengthen the bond between you and your dog. Your dog will be happier and less likely to develop behavioral problems.
Training doesn’t take a long time each day; it is the consistency and clear communication that are the keys to success.
I recommend that you make training a part of your life. Do a few things when you let your dog out to potty, when he gets his meals, during play or walks, when dinner is in the oven, or even during TV commercials.
Training is such a small time investment for the huge payoff of a well behaved dog that you will enjoy for a long time.
Yes, your dog needs training and so do you! Many times my clients say that they have learned more than their dog.
This is normally the case, but not everyone admits it.
Young dogs and puppies learn from their environment, they do what is in their best interest. They figure out what works by trial and error.
This is where we shine when it comes to caring for your pup. In fact, many Veterinarians and kennels in the area refer us because we are smaller and provide a more personalized, less stressful and more hands experience. Dogs who are extremely fearful or shy do well staying here because they do not get stressed out like they would in a kennel environment.
Most dogs that stay with us find suitable playmates to spend time with. However, if your pup is indeed unsocial or aggressive toward other dogs, we have room for him to exercise and play separately.
Food: We ask that each boarder bring their own food so we can keep their diet as normal as possible. Changing your dog’s diet could lead to an upset tummy. We can also manage any special feeding requirements with detailed instructions upon drop off and refrigerator space is available for food if needed.
Toys & Bedding: For pets who are being boarded, you may want to bring some toys, bedding and/or blankets that remind them of home to help with possible anxiety. We want your dog to be comfortable and bringing a toy and blanket from
